Like all great lodges, Fishing Creek Farms has a story... and a whole host of wonderful people behind it.

Our Story

More Than Passion | An Obsession

For Rob Taylor and his family, Georgia quail hunting wasn't just their passion. It was a consuming dream that had to be made real .

Fishing Creek Farms Was Born

In 2002, Rob Taylor wanted a properly managed quail lodge. One with active, strong-flying birds, natural cover, and immaculate hospitality. Pretty soon, he and the whole Taylor family realized that this was something too good not to share.

Now, the lodge encompasses over 1,400 acres, with premier lodging and dining facilities. In addition to the facilities, through persistent and progressive efforts, the wildlife habitat has continually improved which has allowed the family to extend their fabulous hunting opportunities to guests.

Our Focus

Habitat Meets Reality

The entire team at Fishing Creek Farms is devoted to the highest quality quail habitat. Accomplished wingshooters and novices alike remark at the immaculate care taken to our gentle knolls and hills.

And then there's the farm family

Although we pride ourselves on the quality habitat, the incredible dog work, the fantastic accommodations, an incomparable culinary program... it's the people that really sets Fishing Creek Farms apart.
